I worked super late to finish up some admissions stuff yesterday. Didn't get home until after 7:00. Rough day for sure. But I did have time to enjoy some TV, relax on the couch and get a run in.
Wil had a better time of it than I did.

 

Day Seven

January 7

I took down the 365 blog photo prompts. I quickly lost interest in wanting to match my photos to the prompts. I more want a snapshot of my day recorded each day - I want to be able to remember more details from over the year. That's why yesterday's photos didn't really match anything. They were just photos I took yesterday.

Here's today's photo:

 My dear Alabama Crimson Tide plays in the BCS National Championship game tonight so I had to wear all the appropriate clothing. I'm wearing a read Pandora bracelet that Matt gave me for our engagement anniversary (I don't get a gift for every engagement anniversary - but this was 10 years), my Alabama earrings given to me by my dad, a Bama necklace given to me by Matt and my awesome Houndstooth jacket I bought over labor day weekend.

I thought about going down to Miami for the game - but I don't think I could ever justify emptying our savings account for tickets. I'll be at home cooking my dad's chili recipe (a gameday staple) and watching the game with my sister at my side (on Facetime/Skype). I'll have a better view of the game then anyways. :-) ROLL TIDE!

365 Photo Project.

I'm going to attempt a 365 photo project this year.

One photo a day - with a snapshot of that day. I'm attempting to follow the prompts from a 365 photo challenge website.

Happy New Year!!

Fireworks at midnight.

 I have no idea what my resolutions are this year. I'm not sure I've ever kept the ones I've made in previous years. I guess my first resolution is to attempt to post 365 photos for this project.

NEW BEGINNINGS

Back to work.

My new beginning photo is more of a new beginning for other folks. Admissions for the program I work in at USF are in full swing and my mailbox has the material to prove it.

REPETITION

Pens on my desk.

My desk - I sit here everyday during the week. I like to collect pens and colorful pencils to brighten up the space. To make the repetition a little interesting.
